“I think there is a world market for maybe five computers” from Thomas Watson, Chairman of IBM in 1943. Technology is rapidly transforming the world and people’s life. We have become dependent of it everyday and in the future as technology continues to growth exponentially. I am excited that technologies are connecting the world and explore the unknown from around the world. I felt sad that we are the richest country in the world but lack of the education in certain area. Many countries have caught up to us like India who has 100% graduated students that spoke English fluently. Many people are in the United States that doesn’t speak or write correct grammar. I afraid that entry level job may be outsource to another country if we don’t better ourselves. New graduate is going to have to compete with other job seekers in other country for the same job that once had less competition. We have to be thinking “outside of the box” to whatever we do especially we are working for a company. I am optimist about the future and what technology has to offer in the future. Everyone must be literate to be successful in this new world.
